In 1981, I was introduced to the world of racing at a go-kart track in Katy, Texas. Over the next 22 years, I pursued a professional driving career that took me around the world—from karting in Japan to open-wheel racing on the streets of Long Beach. Today, I’ve traded the cockpit for a MacBook Pro, channeling that same drive into my work as a graphic designer. I believe design is every bit as vital as performance on the track—it defines how people experience, remember, and connect with a brand. A strong visual identity builds trust, emotion, and recognition, giving brands the same sense of presence and purpose that great teams and drivers bring to motorsport.
